Working with Content
Content Types
- Represents content of a specific type, like a blog, a news piece, or an event.
- A collection of form fields and settings you can configure that, when saved and published, turns into a web page. This is also known as a node in the Web Platform.
- Contains information in the fields you fill in that can be used by Views; a configuration of specific criteria to display on your site. Your site comes with already created Views like News or Blog Pages or Events Lists.
WYSIWYG Content Editor
WYSIWYG (pronounced "wiz-ee-wig") is an acronym for, “What you see is what you get”. WYSIWYG is very similar to the text editor of most word processor applications. The WYSIWYG editor is found on all content types and is one of the primary options used to display most content.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
All content types available on the platform include a Search Engine Optimization section situated in the administrative dashboard while in Edit mode.
Categorizing
Classify your content to group content and link related content together. Selecting the proper taxonomy terms will ensure that your content is easily found in search results and article/event highlights.
