Introductory Courses

If you’re new to the Web Platform and need access to your site, you’re in the right place. To get started, new users must register and complete the 101 and 201 training courses. We’ve designed multiple formats to make the training process as easy and flexible as possible:

  1. On-Demand Training – Accessible within two business days.
  2. Virtual Courses (Zoom) – Held on a regular basis.
  3. In-Person Courses – Held on a monthly basis at Geffen Hall.
  4. Customized Team Courses – For groups or teams needing individualized training.
     

Access to the Web Platform will be granted once the introductory courses are completed and the site owner has approved your request.

Web Platform On-Demand Course* ***

Once you start our On-Demand course, you will have 30 days to complete it. During the training, you’ll learn how to access the Web Platform and create content. This course is designed for users of different skill levels and experience.

Virtual Courses (Zoom)

101: Intro to the Web Platform* **

During this course, we review the basic operation of the platform. We will review how to access the Web Platform and basic content creation. This course has no prerequisite and is designed for all skill and knowledge levels.

This course takes a deep dive into the operation of Pages (Layout Paragraphs). This is an integral part of creating your content on the Web Platform.

101: Intro to the Web Platform In-Person Courses*

In this course, we’ll cover the basic operations of the platform, including how to access the Web Platform and create content. There are no prerequisites, making it suitable for all skill levels. Please bring a laptop connected to the internet.

*Note: New users must attend both the 101: Intro to the Web Platform and the 201: Intro to Layout Paragraphs training to gain access to the Web Platform. New users must complete a knowledge evaluation and watch or attend a minimum of 70% of the courses to count towards site access. 

**Note: For the In-Person and Virtual Courses courses, access to the Web Platform will be typically granted the same week that both courses are completed.

***Note: For the Self-Paced Courses, it may take up to two weeks to receive access to the Web Platform after both courses have been completed.
