You may want to have a page that is not searchable by search engines or is not displayed on internal search results. There are many reasons why you may not want your page to be visible and some examples include:

  1. You have a page that you want users to access only if they have a direct link.
  2. It may confuse users if the page appears in a search result.

Note: Not all Web Crawlers will abide by the settings and your pages may still be found in some search results.

 


 

  1. Log in to your site.
  2. Navigate to the desired page.
  3. Click Edit.

  4. In the Additional Options section, untoggle Provide a menu link if enabled (optional).
    Note: This will remove the page from the site navigation.

  5. In the Additional Options section, expand the Simple XML Sitemap section.
  6. Select Do not index this Page entity in variant Default.
  7. Click Save.

  5. In the Additional Options section, expand the SEO section.

  6. Select the checkbox noindex - Prevents search engines from indexing this page.
  7. Click Save.
