Recommended Image Sizes and Preparation

The Web Platform was previously using Dots per square inch (dpi) to manage images. We have redesigned how we use images to decrease page load time and to make it easier for users creating content to understand how we handle images. Now we use aspect ratios and recommend that you upload the image in the desired aspect ratio at the highest possible quality while keeping the image under 4MB. The Web Platform is using aspect ratios so the image will appear the same regardless of the device. Below is a list of components and the aspect ratios they use.
