Overview of Text Display Updates
Site owners will begin receiving automated emails with accessibility reports. All UCLA sites must be accessible to all users, including those who rely on adaptive technologies. Site owners can delegate remediation tasks to their designers; however, they are ultimately responsible for ensuring their site is accessible to everyone. When accessibility issues are identified, they must be fixed in a timely manner.
Why Are We Making This Change
This change is required by UCOP, as well as state and federal law. More importantly, we want to showcase our work to everyone, without excluding any users.
Implementation Timeline
The update will take effect on February 28th.
