Users will no longer be able to add documents to events.


Why Are We Making This Change

Many documents uploaded to events violated UCLA’s accessibility standards. Most were event flyers, duplicating information already in the event content. Additionally, documents often included inaccessible QR codes and images. Removing this feature ensures compliance with UCLA’s accessibility requirements and federal law.

What Happens to Existing Events with Documents

Documents in existing events will be automatically removed when the update is implemented.


Implementation Timeline

The update will take effect on February 28th.
