Welcome to our first newsletter for the Web Platform. Moving forward, we'll be delivering quarterly updates with a summary of the new features we've launched. You can check our blog at any time for the latest updates.
We've been busy behind the scenes, crafting a host of new features and enhancements to elevate your experience with the Web Platform. Already this year, we've proudly launched [number of sites] new sites, each designed to help UCLA’s and DGSOM's online presence.
Our team of developers has been hard at work, rolling out 17 major updates, including a brand-new text editor. Beyond the surface, we have transitioned to a new codebase, a monumental effort aimed to put us on a solid footing for years to come. These improvements have turbocharged page loading times.

What's to Come
As we look toward the rest of 2024, we're thrilled to share some tantalizing glimpses of what's in store for the Web Platform. We will be rolling out a new backend testing software to improve site reliability. We're embarking on a comprehensive overhaul of the backend experience, fine-tuning the editing experience with a new backend interface. We plan to introduce templates to simplify and standardize content creation. The major updates to our Slider, Carousel, and Icon components promise sleeker designs and enhanced usability that will elevate your website to new heights. In our ongoing commitment to enhance the Web Platform experience, since late last year we've been refining our approach to image utilization and in the next few months you will be able to change the size of images.
