URLs
What is a URL?
A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the unique web address used to identify and locate a specific page, file, or resource on the internet. URLs allow users and browsers to access content online by specifying where it is stored and how it should be retrieved.
URL Structure
Each part of a URL is separated a slash (/) and represents a “level” or a page within the site
Example: https://www.uclahealth.org/patient-resources/prepare-your-visit/
/patient-resources = a section of the site
/prepare-your-visit = a page within that section

The more slashes, the deeper the page sits within the site structure
Top-level pages have shorter URLs; nested pages have longer URLs
