A one-time academic and teacher, Diane Sievert started copywriting SEO content in 2003 as a side hustle during graduate school and never looked back. After spending two decades working in search marketing and content development, she knows how zero in on the right keyword strategy to deliver results.

In addition to creating optimized content, she has developed a diverse digital marketing skill set that includes everything from managing editorial calendars to tracking KPIs and evolving brand messaging accordingly. She's also held several managerial and leadership positions (Head of Operations, VP of Content Development) and even run her own SEO content agency.

One of the things she likes best about specializing in search is that there is always something new to learn so it never gets old! She also loves working for UCLA because it allows her to combine her passion for higher education and academia with her extensive experience in SEO and content strategy.

She's also a True Blue Bruin: not only did she go to UCLA as an undergrad but both her mother and father were UCLA graduates and she was actually born on campus!
