Overview of the Changes
To streamline our component library, we are consolidating the Quote component and Media Quote component into a single, unified quote component—with an optional image field. This update will simplify usage, enhance flexibility, and offer site editors a single interface for all their quote needs.
Why We Are Making This Change
By merging these two components into one and making the media element optional, we gain several benefits:
Single Source of Truth
Whether the quote needs an image or not, the same component can be used—simplifying implementation.
Optional Image Field
The new component introduces an optional image. When present, the component renders the image in a consistent layout. When absent, it behaves like a traditional quote block.
Flexible Layouts
By supporting layout variations, the same component can adapt to different design needs—ideal for responsiveness and accessibility.
Implementation Timeline
The update will take effect on October 21, 2025.
Adding the Quote Component
Once you add a section, select quote from the menu.
Optional: Add an image to display next to your quote.
- Add your quote, without quote signs, in the WYSIWYG Content Editor.
Add the author of the quote.
